The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
