Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 And his wife, the bearer of fuel, 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
