VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
