"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
