Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 from which you turn away. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
