The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;- 3 Over every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 emanating from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 and so am I: 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
