And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
