INDEED, We sent forth Noah unto his people, and he said: "O my people! Worship God alone: you have no deity other than Him. Verily, I fear lest suffering befall you on an awesome Day!" 59 The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)." 60 (Noah) said, "My people, I am not in any error, rather I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Universe, 61 I deliver to you the Messages of my Lord, and I advise you sincerely; for I know from God that you know not. 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 But they cried him lies; so We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark, and We drowned those who cried lies to Our signs; assuredly they were a blind people. 64
