۞ God says, "Do not worship two gods. There is only One God. Have fear of Me". 51 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him is duty due always: then will ye fear other than Allah? 52 And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help. 53 Then, when He has removed the harm from you, behold! Some of you associate others in worship with their Lord (Allah). 54 [as if] to prove their ingratitude for all that We have granted them! Enjoy, then, your [brief] life: but in time you will come to know [the truth]! 55 They give to unknown images a share out of the sustenance that We gave them. By God, you will be questioned about that which you have falsely invented. 56 And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire. 57 for, whenever any of them is given the glad tiding of [the birth of] a girl, his face darkens, and he is filled with suppressed anger, 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that which is announced to him. Shall he keep it with disgrace or bury it (alive) in the dust? Now surely evil is what they judge. 59 For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil; and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise. 60
