And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
