Behold, Moses said to his attendant, "I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travel." 60 And when they reached the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the waters, being free. 61 And after the two had walked some distance, [Moses] said to his servant: "Bring us our mid-day meal; we have indeed suffered hardship on this [day of] our journey!" 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come). 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Moses said unto him: May I follow thee, to the end that thou mayst teach me right conduct of that which thou hast been taught? 66 He answered: "You will surely not be able to bear with me. 67 "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?" 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
