The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Certainly will the believers have succeeded: 1 who in their prayers are humble 2 And who do not incline towards indecent matters. 3 who give charity, 4 And those who of their private parts are guards. 5 save from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess; for with regard to them they are free from blame " 6 And whosoever seeketh beyond that, then it is these who are the transgressors 7 And those who keep proper regard for their trusts and their pledges. 8 And those who strictly guard their (five compulsory congregational) Salawat (prayers) (at their fixed stated hours). 9 Those are the inheritors 10 Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever). 11 We created man out of the extract of clay, 12 then We placed him as a drop of fluid in a safe place, 13 The living germ, then, was turned into a shapeless lump of flesh from which bones were formed. The bones, then, were covered with flesh. At this stage, We caused it to become another creature. All blessings belong to God, the best Creator. 14 Then after that you will most surely die. 15 Then you will all be raised on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And certainly We made above you seven heavens; and never are We heedless of creation. 17 We sent down water from the sky in due measure and lodged it in the earth, but if We please, We have the power to take it away, 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you, and whereof you eat. 19 Also, a tree which grows on the Tor of Sinai and gives oil and relish for its eaters. 20 There is a lesson for you concerning cattle. We provide you with drink from their bellies and many other benefits. You can consume them as meat. 21 And on them, as well as in ships, ye ride. 22
