The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
