۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
