In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I CALL TO witness those who stand arrayed in rows, 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 surely, your God is One, 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
