Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 1 Many faces will be contrite on that day, 2 Labouring, striving hard. 3 They will enter in the hot blazing Fire, 4 watered at a boiling fountain, 5 No food for them save the bitterness of dry thorns, 6 unfattening, unappeasing hunger. 7 [Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure. 8 well pleased with their striving, 9 in a sublime garden, 10 In which they will not hear any lewd speech. 11 Countless springs will flow therein, 12 In which are high thrones. 13 Goblets placed (ready), 14 well-placed cushions, 15 and outspread carpets. 16 Do (these unbelievers) not observe the camels: how they were created? 17 And at the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And the mountains, how they were fixed; 19 And the earth, how it was spread out? 20 So render good counsel, for you are simply required to counsel, 21 You are not charged to oversee them. 22 But whoso is averse and disbelieveth, 23 God shall chastise him with the greatest chastisement. 24 Truly, to Us is their return; 25 Then verily on Us is their reckoning. 26
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
