By no means! By the moon, 32 and the night when it retreats 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 Warn the men. 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 we fed not the needy, 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
