Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 when heaven shall be split 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
