We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
