(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 He plunged the villages 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
