Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 from which you turn away. 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
