The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
