۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
