The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
