The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 and the brooding night! 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
