The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And those on the left – how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 and upraised couches. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For those of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
