For those who fear God there are pleasure gardens with their Lord. 34 Shall We then make the Muslims like the culprits? 35 What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? 36 Or have ye a scripture wherein ye learn 37 That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose? 38 Or have you oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection? Surely you shall have whatever you judge! 39 Ask them, which of them will guarantee that! 40 Or is it that they have partners in worship? So they should bring their appointed partners, if they are truthful. 41 On the day when there shall be a severe affliction, and they shall be called upon to make obeisance, but they shall not be able, 42 Downcast will be their looks; abjectness will overspread them. Surely they had been called upon to prostrate themselves while yet they were whole. 43 Leave those who reject the Quran to Me and I shall lead them step by step to destruction, without their being aware of it. 44 And I do bear with them, surely My plan is firm. 45 Askest thou a hire from them so that they are laden with debt? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 had his Lord not bestowed His favour upon him, he would have been cast upon that barren shore (and would have remained there) in disgrace. 49 But his Lord chose him for His own and made him one of the righteous. 50 But the unbelievers would like to stare you out of balance when they hear the warning, and say: "Surely he is possessed;" 51 While it is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 52
