We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
