Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
