Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
