Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
