Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
