Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. 2 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing; 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
