Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 and who pray: "O our Sustainer, avert from us the suffering of hell - for, verily, the suffering caused by it is bound to be a torment dire: 65 Indeed, it is an evil abode and evil dwelling-place." 66 who in their spending are neither extravagant nor stingy but maintain moderation, 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 The punishment shall be increased for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will remain in it forever, with humiliation. 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance. 71 And those who bear not false witness and, when they pass by idle talk, pass by with dignity; 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 and wherein they will live for ever: what an excellent abode and what an excellent resting place! 76 Say: 'My Lord esteems you not at all were it not for your prayer, for you have cried lies, and it shall surely be fastened.' 77
