Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 And the clouds bearing a load. 2 and those that speed along with gentle ease, 3 and execute the great task of apportioning (rainfall): 4 What you are threatened with is most surely true, 5 and the recompense shall surely happen. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 Let whoever wishes, turn away from Our Quran. 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned 13 "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Surely the godfearing shall be among gardens and fountains 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 They slept little in the night, 17 And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness, 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure. 20 And within yourselves. Can you not perceive? 21 And in heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised [for your life after death]: 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
