We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
