Allah it is Who hath appointed for you cattle, that ye may ride on some of them, and eat of others 79 you have other benefits in them too. You can reach any destination you wish on them: they carry you by land, as ships carry you on the sea. 80 And [thus] He displays His wonders before you: which, then, of God's wonders can you still deny? 81 Have they not travelled in the land and seen how was the end of those before them who were far more numerous than they and more strong, and have left behind them traces on the earth. And yet nothing of what they did profited them. 82 So when their Noble Messengers came to them with clear signs, they remained happy over the worldly knowledge they possessed, and upon them only reverted what they used to mock at! 83 When they saw Our chastisement, they said: “We have come to believe in Allah, the Only One, and we reject all what we had associated (with Allah in His Divinity).” 84 But their belief profited them naught when they saw our prowess. This hath been Allah's dispensation that hath been in regard to His bondmen. And then there were lost the infidels. 85
