The people of Aykah also gave the lie to the Messengers. 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure and do not diminish the goods of people, 181 "And weigh with the true and straight balance. 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 Fear Him who created you and those who have gone before you." 184 They replied, "You are bewitched. 185 And thou art but a human being like unto us, and we deem thee to be of the liars. 186 "So cause a piece of the heaven to fall on us, if you are of the truthful!" 187 (Shu'aib) said: "My Lord knows well what you are doing." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
