O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ Now; if the hypocrites do not give over, and those in whose hearts there is sickness and they that make commotion in the city, We shall assuredly urge thee against them and then they will be thy neighbours there only a little; 60 Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter. 61 That was the way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old; thou wilt not find for the way of Allah aught of power to change. 62 People ask you concerning the Hour. Say," Knowledge of it is only with Allah. And what may make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near." 63 Allah has cursed the unbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. 64 therein to dwell for ever; they shall find neither protector nor helper. 65 On the day when their faces shall be turned back into the fire, they shall say: O would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Apostle! 66 And they shall say: O our Lord! surely we obeyed our leaders and our great men, so they led us astray from the path; 67 Our Lord! give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse!" 68
