۞ And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence. 21 The day they see the angels there will be no happy tidings for the sinners; and they will say: "There is an insurmountable barrier!" 22 And We shall set upon that which they worked, and shall make it as dust wind-scattered. 23 The inhabitants of the Garden will have the best residence and the finest lodging on that Day. 24 On that day the sky will be crystal blue, clear of clouds. The angels will descend in groups 25 The real sovereignty will belong to Ar-Rahman. How grievous will be the day for the infidels! 26 And the day when the unjust one shall bite his hands saying: O! would that I had taken a way with the Apostle 27 Ah! woe unto me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! 28 He indeed led me astray from the Remembrance, after it had come to me; Satan is ever a forsaker of men.' 29 The Messenger says: 'O my Lord, my people have taken this Koran while deserting it' 30 For so it is that against every prophet We have set up enemies from among those who are lost in sin: yet none can guide and give succour as thy Sustainer does! 31 Those who deny the truth say, "Why was the Quran not sent down to him in a single revelation?" We sent it in this manner, so that We might strengthen your heart. We gave it to you in gradual revelation. 32 And they shall not bring to you any argument, but We have brought to you (one) with truth and best in significance. 33 Those who will be pushed faces forward into Hell will be in a worse position, farther away from the path. 34
