Noah said: 'My Lord, they have rebelled against me and followed he whose wealth and offspring increase him only in loss, 21 “And they carried out a very sinister scheme.” 22 "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods, nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr (names of the idols); 23 And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." 24 And so, because of their sins, they were drowned [in the great flood,] and were doomed to suffer the fire [of the hereafter]; and they found none who could succour them against God. 25 And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land. 26 Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever. 27 Forgive me, My Lord, and my parents, and whosoever seeks refuge in my house as a believer, and the believers men and women alike, and do not increase the harmdoers except in ruin' 28
