The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 Createth man from a clot. 2 Recite! Your Lord is the most Honorable One, 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 Yet man behaves arrogantly, 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 Surely to your Lord is your return. 8 Have you seen the one who prohibits 9 A servant when he prays? 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 Or had enjoined piety, (it would have been better)? 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Does he not know that God observes all things? 14 Nay! If he (Abu Jahl) ceases not, We will catch him by the forelock, 15 The lying, sinful forelock - 16 So let him call his associates, 17 We will call the guards of hell. 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
