And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
