(Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 As a warning unto men, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
