The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness those who stand arrayed in rows, 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
