The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
