Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif, Lam, Meem. 1 The revelation of the Book is, without doubt, from the Lord Of The Creation. 2 Do they say, "He has invented it himself."? No indeed! It is the truth from your Lord to warn a people to whom, before you, no warner came, so that hopefully they may be rightly guided. 3 God is He that created the heavens and the earth, and what between them is, in six days, then seated Himself upon the Throne. Apart from Him, you have no protector neither mediator; will you not remember? 4 He governs all that exists, from the celestial space to the earth; and in the end all shall ascend unto Him [for judgment] on a Day the length whereof will be [like] a thousand years of your reckoning. 5 Such is He, the Knower of all things, hidden and open, the Exalted (in power), the Merciful;- 6 who perfected everything He created. He originated the creation of the human from clay, 7 Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained. 8 Then He made him complete and breathed into him of His spirit, and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Tell them: “The angel of death who has been charged with your souls shall gather you, and then you shall be brought back to your Lord.” 11
