Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
