He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 You never know. Perhaps he wanted to purify himself, 3 or have been reminded [of the truth,] and helped by this reminder. 4 As for him who considers himself free from need (of you), 5 To him dost thou attend; 6 though you will not be questioned even if he never purifies himself. 7 As for the one who comes to you earnestly (striving for guidance). 8 While he fears [Allah], 9 From him will you divert yourself. 10 Indeed, this [Quran] is an admonition. 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 upon highly honored pages, 13 exalted, purified, 14 By the hands of scribes. 15 noble, pious. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 He makes his path easy for him. 20 then makes him to die, and buries him, 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 Nay; but he has not done what He bade him. 23 Let man reflect on the food he eats. 24 how We pour down rain in abundance, 25 Then split the earth in clefts 26 Thereby produced grain in it. 27 And grapes and herbage, 28 And olive and palm trees 29 and dense orchards, 30 And fruits and fodder: 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 And his wife and his children, 36 for on that day everyone will be completely engrossed in his own concerns. 37 Some faces on that day will be radiant, 38 laughing, and rejoicing, 39 but others will be gloomy 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
