Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
